What is Docmonkee?
Docmonkee is a simple online tool for creating clean, professional business documents: invoices, estimates, quotes, receipts, and purchase orders, without the hassle of complicated accounting software.
Is Docmonkee free to use?
Yes. You can start creating documents for free and try Docmonkee without paying anything upfront.
Can I create invoices without signing up?
Yes. You can use the public generators to create a document right away. Creating a free account simply lets you save your work, reuse your details, and come back to documents later.

Creating documents

What documents can I create?
You can create invoices, estimates, quotes, receipts, and purchase orders.
Can I create estimates and quotes?
Yes. Docmonkee makes it easy to put together tidy estimates and quotes to send to your customers.
Can I convert an estimate or quote into an invoice?
Yes. Once a customer approves an estimate or quote, you can turn it into an invoice instead of starting from scratch.
Can I convert an invoice into a receipt?
Yes. After an invoice is paid, you can create a matching receipt from it in a couple of clicks.
Can I save my company information and logo?
With a free account you can save your company details and logo so they're ready to go every time you create a new document.

Saving and exporting

Can I download documents as PDFs?
Yes. Every document can be downloaded as a clean, professional PDF that's ready to share.
Can I print documents?
Yes. You can print any document directly, or download the PDF first and print that.

Sending invoices

How do I send an invoice?
Create your invoice, then copy a secure share link, download it as a PDF, or print it. Email sending will come later after domain setup.
Does Docmonkee process payments?
No. Docmonkee does not process payments. You can manually record payments you receive outside of Docmonkee so you have a record of what's been paid.

Account and dashboard

What is the difference between using the public generator and having an account?
The public generator lets you create a document quickly without signing up. With a free account you can save your documents, store your company info and logo, and manage everything from your dashboard.
